Hi All
In March 2011 I was invited by the Victorian Kastellorizian Association to conduct a weekend seminar on Castellorizian Genealogical Research at their headquarters in Melbourne. As a aid to the seminars I compiled a booklet titled, Surfing, Sourcing and Submitting. I have now placed this 28 page booklet online and can be accessed via the homepage of the Castellorizo Genealogy Pages. A direct link to the booklet is at:

Just prior to attending the Melbourne seminar I was in Sydney with the Hellenic Lawn Bowls Assn of WA. With the wonderful support of Senya Kranitis, Mary Omeros and the Sydney Castellorizian Ladies Auxiliary an impromptu Sydney Genealogy seminar was arranged at very short notice. Tash Vanos and his committee then offered their AHEPA premises and gave such wonderful support to the evening.
During the visit to Sydney and Melbourne over 1000 additional pre 1950 photographs were collected and most of winter 2011 will now be spent uploading them to the website.
The Castellorizo Genealogy website now has over 20000 persons listed and over 2000 photos.
Please do download the booklet which will assist in helping people surf the Castellorizo Genealogy Pages. It will also assist in identifying what genealogical resources are available and how to be involved and submit to this important project.
Submissions to the website are always welcomed and hopefully this booklet will assist contributors to provide information on their family before it is lost forever.
